Lina Denton

Lina Denton is a Loan Processor at Myers Capital Hawaii with more than 10 years of experience in the mortgage and financial services industry. She specializes in managing residential and commercial loan files from application through closing, with expertise in loan processing, closing, funding, compliance, and post-closing operations.

In her role, Lina manages the full lifecycle of loan transactions, ensuring each file moves efficiently and accurately through every stage of the process. She works closely with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, title and escrow companies, insurance agents, attorneys, and other third parties to gather documentation, clear underwriting conditions, coordinate appraisals, review title and entity documents, balance closing figures, and prepare loans for funding.

Prior to joining Myers Capital Hawaii, Lina held roles in mortgage closing and funding at Acra Lending, Freedom Mortgage, and Renovate America. Throughout her career, she has managed high-volume loan pipelines, ensured investor and regulatory compliance, and contributed to process improvements that enhanced efficiency and reduced closing delays.

Lina holds a Business Management Certification from the University of California, San Diego. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, staying active, and exploring new places together.
