Reed Myers
Principal
Reed Myers is Principal of Myers Capital Hawaii, a family-owned mortgage banking company and direct private lender serving real estate investors, homeowners, and business owners nationwide. With more than two decades of experience in residential and commercial lending and real estate investing, Reed oversees the company’s lending operations, capital investments, and strategic growth initiatives.
Prior to joining Myers Capital Hawaii, Reed was an investment analyst with experience in real estate development, retail positioning, and business acquisitions. He worked under the mentorship of the Chairman and CEO of a commercial real estate investment fund on the East Coast, participating in land development, air rights development, retail repositioning projects, and business acquisitions.
Reed is passionate about the mortgage industry and views it as the foundation that connects personal finance and real estate ownership. He believes that thoughtfully structured financing can help families build stability, create wealth, and achieve long-term financial goals.
Throughout his career, Reed has been featured in Pacific Business News, The Honolulu Star-Advertiser, Mortgage Professional America, and The Greenville News, and has appeared as a guest on radio programs and industry discussions. He also hosts educational webinars on private mortgage investing through Myers Investment Group.
Born and raised in Honolulu, Reed earned an academic scholarship to the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina, graduating cum laude with a bachelor of science in International Business and Management and a minor in Japanese.
